The base camp is set in the trek spot at Meesapulimala. The next day in the morning, various jeeps are present at the base campsite which transport the tourists to the Rhodo valley, which is approximately 4.1 Kilometres from the base campsite.

This site of Rhodo valley is considered to be the last point where a tourist or person can travel by the means of any vehicle or jeep. From this point, the actual trekking starts.

While going to this place via jeeps, one can sport the famous Pandeva Caves on the way.
